Tasting Notes
A supple and fruit-driven French syrah with wonderfully ripe tannins complementing the rich black and blue fruits, subtle vanilla and olive notes on the palate. A perfect pairing for grilled foods and an incredible value!
— Josh Hull, Chairman’s Selection® wine buyer
The nose shows stunning aromas of cocoa dust, cedar, pipe tobacco, ripe boysenberry and freshly cut herbs. Flavors of black cherry cola, rhubarb pie filling with a little black pepper roll across the palate. The tannins are supple, and the acidity perfectly in balance with its body, which elevates the entire structure of the wine.
