Crafted around a core of fruit from our own Hirondelle Estate Vineyard in the famed Stags Leap District, this exceptional Napa Valley cabernet sauvignon includes 93% cabernet, 3.5% merlot and 3.5% cabernet franc. With an average vine age of 29-30 years old, it offers lovely concentration and complexity. To accentuate these qualities, it was aged in French oak barrels (40% new) for 20 months prior to bottling. The result is a layered and expressive wine with aromas of coffee, blueberry and toast. On the palate, it's rich and supple, with flavors of plum, boysenberry and cocoa.
