Complex and juicy, this Lodi zinfandel explodes with brambly fruit aromas as well as toasted coconut, sandalwood, tanned leather, clove and freshly grated nutmeg. The palate is layered with fruit and spice showcasing blueberry, strawberry pie filling, sweet cherry, milk chocolate, graham cracker, thyme and white pepper. This bold zinfandel would pair exceptionally well with Mongolian barbecue or anything covered in a teriyaki sauce. Other recommended pairings would be a burger with barbecue sauce, potato chips or a meat-lover’s pizza.
