American Summer
This is built on moonshine distilled from American corn, so it’s slightly sweet with a smooth finish. Add in the earthy flavors of ginger beer and bitters, then finish with the bright note of strawberry and lemon and you have the best balance of summer flavors in a glass.
Ingredients
- 1 chopped strawberry, plus 1 for garnish
- ¾ oz fresh lemon juice
- ½ oz simple syrup
- 1 ½ oz Midnight Moon Moonshine
- 2 dashes bitters
- 2 oz ginger beer
Directions
- Muddle first three ingredients in a shaker.
- Add next two ingredients and ice.
- Shake and pour into a highball glass.
- Top with ginger beer.
- Garnish with strawberry.
