Boulevardier
If you enjoy the classic Negroni, you’ll love this simple variation made with bourbon or rye whiskey. The Boulevardier, directly translated “wealthy, fashionable socialite,” was first created in the 1920s and is trending among connoisseurs.
Ingredients
- 1 oz bourbon
- 1 oz Campari Bitter Aperitivo
- 1 oz sweet vermouth
- Orange peel, for garnish
Directions
- Combine all ingredients, except for garnish, in a shaker filled with ice.
- Stir and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with orange peel.
