Candy Cane Hot Cocoa
Did someone say peppermint? The rich flavor of chocolate combines with peppermint and whipped cream for a delicious holiday treat. This cold weather comfort drink is sure to become one of your favorites.
Ingredients
- 2 c whole milk
- 1 ½ c heavy cream
- ½ c peppermint creamer
- 12 oz semisweet chocolate chips
- ½ tsp peppermint extract
- Whipped cream, for garnish
Directions
- Combine first three ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until it simmers.
- Add chocolate chips and whisk until well combined.
- Add next ingredient, stirring to combine.
- Serve in mugs.
- Garnish with whipped cream.
