Apricot Sunrise
It’s like a sip of sunshine on a fall day. Apricot preserves and orange juice create a sweet fusion with smooth and smoky Maker’s Mark bourbon. It’s a great brunch cocktail or a nightcap after a day of hayrides and pumpkin picking.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Maker’s Mark Straight Bourbon
- 2 oz fresh lemon juice
- 1 oz apricot preserves
- ½ oz orange juice
- Apricot wedge, for garnish
- Mint sprig, for garnish
Directions
- Combine all ingredients, except for garnishes, in a shaker filled with ice.
- Shake and strain into a rocks glass filled with fresh ice.
- Garnish with apricot wedge and mint sprig.
