Maple White Hot Chocolate
Add a unique layer of flavor to your hot chocolate. The addition of maple syrup is subtle yet delicious, not overly sweet or overpowering the white chocolate. It’s so rich and velvety, it’s easy to enjoy throughout the cold weather months.
Ingredients
- 3 c milk
- 1 c heavy cream
- 8 oz white chocolate chips
- 1 ½ tsp vanilla
- 2 Tbsp pure maple syrup
- Pinch salt
- Ground nutmeg, for garnish
- Whipped cream, for garnish
Directions
- Combine all ingredients, except for garnishes, in a pot over medium to low heat.
- Whisk frequently until chocolate chips are melted and mixture is smooth.
- Serve in mugs.
- Garnish with whipped cream and nutmeg.
