Ingredients

  • ¼ oz absinthe
  • 1 sugar cube
  • 2 dashes Peychaud’s Bitters
  • 1 ½ oz rye whiskey
  • Lemon twist, for garnish
     

Directions

  1. Swirl first ingredient in a chilled old-fashioned glass and pour out excess liquid; set aside.
  2. Add rye whiskey and ice; stir.
  3. Strain into prepared glass.
  4. Garnish with lemon twist.
